The non-wagering events for 2-year-old horses begin at 10
a.m. and will feature live race calls. Breakfast items will be available
for purchase at the Don Q Wedge concession stand every Saturday in June and
July. Paddock tours and children’s activities will be offered on
four of the Saturdays: June 16 and 23 and July 7 and 21. No reservation
is necessary to participate.
The entry box for baby races closes at 4 p.m. on
Fridays. There is no participation fee for New Jersey-bred 2-year-olds or
2-year-olds staked to races at the Meadowlands. For all other
2-year-olds, the fee is $100.
