M1 - Meadowlands Hosts Join Summer Survival Challenge For Charity

Meadowlands Racetrack’s team of racing analysts will compete for charity in the 2012 edition of the Summer Survival Challenge, the free online wagering game that features real cash prizes.

Fans can keep track of hosts Sam McKee, Ken Warkentin, Darin Zoccali, Bob Heyden and Wendy Ross on the leader board as they play for a $1000 side pot that will be donated to the charity of their choice.

Registration is still open for the Summer Survival Challenge, which runs Friday, June 1 through Friday, August 17.  The contest is free to play and features a $2,000 grand prize. Second-place prize is $1,000, while third-place is $500.  There is also a bonus award of $500 for Most Number of Winners.

The winner is determined by the highest total bankroll at the end of the Challenge based on a $2 "across the board" wager [win, place and show] on selections for three designated races each program.  To continue in the game, entrants have to "survive" by finishing in-the-money [first through third] with at least one of their selections each day.

To set up a username and password, and for more contest rules, go to www.survival-challenge.com.  The contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, and all selections must be made through the Survival Challenge web site.  The deadline for selections each day is 30 minutes before first race post time.
