The eight starters in the featured event are elite free
for all pacers who have earned a combined $9.3 million in their careers to
date. They will be driven by several of the most accomplished drivers in the
sport whose earnings as of today total an incredible $473,079,650.
“The Molson Pace race, as well as the entire program, is
stronger than last year and we expect some very competitive and entertaining
racing this Friday,” said Racing Manager Ian Fleming. “We think there is
something for everyone and if the weather co-operates, we’re expecting a great night.”
Here are the facts on Friday night’s program which
promises to be action packed from start to finish:
• Special
post time of 6:50 p.m. 14 race card.
• Meet and
greet with drivers in the lobby of the grandstand prior to post time.
• Special tribute to local legend Dave Wall on
his induction later this year to Canada’s Horse Racing Hall of Fame.
• $15,000
guaranteed pool Pick-4, $5,000 guaranteed Pick-5 (both at 15% takeout) American

• Pick-4
races will be offered in California for the first time.
• On track
draw for a $500 win bet on the Molson Pace.
