Hanover’s sons and daughters have banked $2,816,035 this year with 234 starters
from 606 foals. His offspring lead runner-up Camluck [$2,401,342 with 328
starters from 1,694 foals] by more than $400,000.
Two of Rocknroll
Hanover’s major 3-year-old prospects, A Rocknroll Dance p,2,1:49.1 and Pet Rock
p.2, 1:52.3, have already qualified at Hoosier Park and are pointing toward the
New Jersey Sire Stakes opening leg on May 19 at the Meadowlands
Perretti Farm’s is
still seeking broodmares but has already acquired some top prospects to breed
to their stallions, Muscles Yankee and Rocknroll Hanover.
Trotting mares Some
Girls 3, 1:56.4, [Conway Hall-Emotional Rescue], winner of more than $400,000
and Susies Magic [4, 1:52.1, Dream Vacation-Kash Echo, $700,946] are the newest
additions to the Perretti Farms broodmare roster. Both will be bred to
Muscles Yankee for 2012
Prominent new pacing
mares include Me And My Baby [p,1:51, Artiscape-My Baby And Me], a winner
of $607,841; Place Your Best [Cambest-In A Safe Place], a sister to 2011
Pacer of the Year Foiled Again [1:46.1 $3,506,055]; Sir Erika Z Tam, a Bettors
Delight sister to Maltese Artist [p,1:48.3f $2,322,671] and Read All About It,
a Tell All sister to this year’s hotshot pacing colt Social Network [p,3,
1:51.4f]. The pacing mares will be bred to Rocknroll Hanover for
2012.
