The feature event of the Wednesday, April 25 program at The Isle Casino Racing
Pompano Park was the $8,000 purse Isle Mile 1 Trot. Whosgoinwhosstayin
made a quarter pole move from third to first and went the rest of the way to
stop the clock in 1:56.1 with Wally Hennessey in the bike. Wildfire, in
rein to Dan Clements, enjoyed a pocket trip but had to settle for the runner-up
spot. Big Baller with Andy Santeramo in tow followed in for third.
Julianna Edwards trains Whosgoinwhosstayin for owners and breeders Sophia
and Chris Valkanoff of Pompano Beach, FL. The 6 year old Basil-Benn's
Margie gelding pushed his career earnings to $177,657 with the win.
Post time changes to 7:05 Eastern as of Wednesday, May 2 for live harness
racing at Pompano. The schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday live cards
continues through the end of May. The final appearance of the Miami Gourmet
Food Trucks and trackside deejay Summer Party is scheduled for Saturday, April
28, from 5-10 p.m. For June and July, live programs at Pompano will
