NICHOLS, NY – Eight-year-old pacing mare Dreamfair Eternal
broke her own track record in capturing her second Artiscape Open Mare Pace
over the weekend at Tioga Downs.
The historic win is chronicled on this week’s episode of
“Inside Harness Racing.” The program airs at a special time of 9:00 PM with a
repeat at 10:30 PM on Time Warner Cable Sports throughout Upstate New York. The
show can also be seen each week on HPI TV in Canada
“This is such a great mare,” said winning driver Jody
Jamieson. “It doesn’t usually matter where she draws, she always gives 100%.
She’s just an amazing mare and I can’t say enough about her.”
Also at Tioga Downs, a three-horse photo finish determined
the winner of this year’s Bettor’s Delight Open Pace. Clear Vision “out-nosed”
stablemate Foiled Again and defending champion Bettor Sweet to score the win.
At Vernon Downs, Archangel
continued his march towards the Hambletonian with a powerful win in the rich
final of the Empire Breeders Classic while For A Dancer maintained her position
as the Queen of New York’s female trotters with a win in the EBC Filly final.
