Fhld - NOMINAL HANOVER NARROWLY WINS IN NJSS FINAL

MANALAPAN, NJ – October 18, 2012 – Nominal Hanover rallied for a narrow victory in the $25,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final –Green Acres for two-year-old pacing fillies on Thursday afternoon, October 18, 2012, at Freehold Raceway.

The Western Ideal filly, driven by Daniel Dube and trained by Abe Stoltzfus, was a nose winner over Ashlee’s Card [Cam’s Card Shark].  It was a length and a quarter to the pacesetter, Isle of Shoals [Rocknroll Hanover], in third.  Betting favorite Light of Day [Rocknroll Hanover] was four and a quarter lengths back in fourth.

Nominal Hanover paced the mile in 1:59.1, picking up her third win along with one second and two thirds from 10 starts.  The filly has banked $27,400 for Ernest Hartman of Toledo, OH.
