$600,000 Breeders Crown Two-Year-Colt Pace Field Set

One favorite and one upset gives trainer Tony Alagna a powerful pair of contenders for the US$600,000 Breeders Crown freshman pace, race 7 in a set of 12 championship races scheduled for Oct. 27 at Woodbine Racetrack. Alagna chose post three for Captaintreacherous, a four-length winner in 1:50 in the first elim and post four for Wake Up Peter, who rewarded backers to the tune of $28.00 in the second Crown elim.

Though Scott Zeron qualified Wake Up Peter he will drive Vegas Vacation, who finished second, for the Casie Coleman barn. Andy Miller gets the drive on Wake Up Peter.
