YONKERS, NY, Tuesday, June 20, 2017—For the first time ever, Yonkers Raceway is importing races from the world-class thoroughbred meeting at Britain’s Royal Ascot.

Simulcasting shall be offered Wednesday through Saturday (June 21st through 24th, wagering offered on the last five races each day). Yonkers’ mutuel windows open daily at 10 AM, with the first Royal Ascot race each day scheduled shortly thereafter (note the early opening is for Royal Ascot simulcast [fourth floor only], usual 12 Noon opening for all other days).

Among the Royal Ascot highlights are…

Wednesday—Prince of Wales Stakes (distance 1¼ miles)
Thursday—Gold Cup (distance 2½ miles)
Friday—Coronation Stakes (distance 1 mile)
Saturday—Diamond Jubilee Stakes (distance 6 furlongs).

Any number of standout North American-based horses are scheduled to complete during the prestigious meet.
