Long-Anticipated boxing match to be broadcast in
Victory and Trotters
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (Thursday,
April 16, 2015) – The eagerly
anticipated championship boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny
Pacquiao has been added to the lineup of excitement of Kentucky Derby Day at
Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
The fight will be shown in two
locations. The first, Victory, the massive sports bar and club which will
play host to a Kentucky Derby party during the day, will show the fight on its
selections of 12 by 20 foot television screens. DJ Toro, from 92.3 AMP
Radio in New York City will provide music as Victory transitions into a
nightclub, where the fight will be shown amidst music and entertainment.
The undercard for the boxing match begins at 9:00 P.M. Admission to
Victory for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is $25 for gentlemen and $20 for
women.
Victory will open at 9:30
A.M. for the Derby Day festivities, with the $39.95 buffet beginning at 11:30
A.M.
The boxing match will also be
shown in Trotters, which will also play host to a Kentucky Derby Day party
beginning at 4:30 P.M., with a special dining menu for Derby Day.
Admission for Trotters for the Derby and live racing is $49.95 for horsemen ($44.95
for members), which includes the early buffet. Those wishing to remain in
Trotters for the boxing match can do so at a cost of $35 ($30 for members),
which will include a late-night snack buffet.
In addition, Pink will be
open for the Kentucky Derby simulcast and live racing, with a special
southern-themed prix-fixed menu at a price of $39.95.
Live racing on Kentucky Derby
Day has a special post time of 5:30 P.M. There will a break in the live
racing action for the Derby, which is slated to go off at 6:24 P.M. and live
racing will resume shortly thereafter.
