The California Harness Horsemans Association and Watch
and Wager LLC have agreed to a 10 percent across the board purse increase
effective this Saturday April 18th.
The trotters and pacers are in action at Cal Expo on
Saturday and Sunday nights, with Saturday’s post now changing to 6:55 p.m. and
Sunday racing getting underway at 5 p.m. Closing night of the current
meeting is Sunday May 3rd.
“We
want to thank all our horseman who put on a great show and made the meet
successful this season" said Chris Schick General Manager of Watch and
Wager LLC. " We recognize that horseman have plenty of options this time
of year, and want to reward those that remain to meets end".
