SUMMERTIME LEA GOES FROM BARGAIN BUY TO SIRE STAKES WINNER”

Pacing filly featured on this week’s “Inside Harness Racing”

NICHOLS, NY – Summertime Lea was originally purchased as a yearling last year for $2,600 and now she’s undefeated and a two-time New York Sire Stakes leg winner for the powerful Ron Burke stable.

The 2-year-old pacing filly is featured on this week’s episode of “Inside Harness Racing.” The program airs today (Wednesday) at 6:00 PM and again at 10:30 PM on Time Warner Cable Sports throughout Upstate New York. It’ll also be replayed Thursday at 6:00 PM and Friday at 11:30 PM. The show can also be seen each week on HPI TV in Canada. With the summer in full swing, New York Sire Stakes action is also featured on this week’s show for the sophomore trotters. Brookroad Knight turned in a track record performance while Delano tuned up for the Hambletonian with his third straight win for Ray Schnittker.
