East Rutherford, NJ - The Meadowlands' live racing week begins with a nine
race card on Thursday, March 2. It is the penultimate Thursday program of
the winter meet.
Ten condition trotters
will line up for the featured eighth race offering several class angles to
consider while handicapping. Danish Durango has been racing himself
into form while his gradual improvement paired with class relief have him
in prime position for a win. A winner seven times last season, the fastest in
1:52, while earning just shy of $70,000 for trainer Kevin McDermott and
owner Little E, LLC Danish Durango was a gritty second last week and draws a
favorable post five in Thursday's race for top driver Jimmy Marohn, Jr.
