Monticello Raceway and the Monticello Harness Horseman’s Association to host qualifying leg of World Harness Handicapping Championship

Monticello Raceway in conjunction with the Monticello Harness Horseman’s Association will host a qualifying leg for the $50,000 World Harness Handicapping Championship on Thursday March 30th, the winner of the qualifying leg will compete in the $50,000 final at the Meadowlands on April 29, valued at $800. The Monticello Harness Horseman’s Association will provide $200 for travel expenses to the Meadowlands. Participants will have to select 1 horse in each of the cards 10 races, there is no entry fee for the contest and participants are allowed 1 entry per person.  Cash prizes in the form of a betting voucher will be awarded to those who finish 2nd ($125) and 3rd ($75.00)
