MR - TRACYS SONG SEEKS 14TH CONSECUTIVE VICTORY TODAY AT MONTICELLO RACEWAY

Monticello, NY--Tracys Song, North America’s winningest standardbred, will be shooting for her 14th consecutive victory  in the 10th race this afternoon (April 29) at Monticello Raceway.

Already a winner of 13 racers this year the 8- year- old pacing daughter of Astreos will again be handled by Bruce Aldrich, Jr. when he leaves from the  six-hole carrying with her  a $9,000 claiming tag.
Last week Tracys Song was an easy three and one- half length winner in a 1:57.2 clocking over similar company.

Currently Tracys Song holds the track record for most wins in a row by a mare but now she’s chasing the tracks all-time mark of 15 consecutive victories set in2010  by a pacer Northern  Chief who was driven by Mike Merton.
“It looks like rain today and  this year all Tracys Song’s wins were over a fast racetrack, so barring anything unforeseen I believe we have a great chance at continuing our win streak and (have) a legitimate shot at the 15 wins in a row,” said trainer Bob Lounsbury.

Traceys Song, a $4000 purchase earlier this year is owned by Nancy Fugere, of Westbrookville, NY
