Fans connected on six of seven on Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday night, yet the carryover somehow managed to escape on each
program.
Friday night had one lucky fan staring at a ‘pool shot’ of
over $27,000 if Tremendous Hanover, 3-1 second choice, could have been
victorious in the 12th race finale. The gelding ended up finishing
a dull sixth, while the race was won wire-to-wire by the 9-5 favorite,
Puppetandmee N. The consolation payout, for six of seven, returned
$279.
Track management has added to the excitement of the Pick 7
on each program, by announcing the number of live tickets remaining at the
conclusion of each leg.
The Pick 7 is a $2 minimum wager held nightly on Races 6 –
12.
Live racing continues at Buffalo Raceway on Wednesday and
Thursday evenings at 5 p.m., with Friday and Saturday first post at 6:40
p.m.
