NY, Monday, September 19, 2016—Driver Scott Zeron, who reached the 3,000-win
milestone this past Thursday night, was duly recognized by the site of that
plateau, Yonkers Raceway.
Zeron,
who hadn’t driven here since that evening, received the obligatory sign after
Monday night’s first race. His case of complimentary assorted teas has also
been ordered.
“I
appreciate the recognition,” Zeron said. “Now, it’s time to go back to work.”
Zeron began the evening with 3,001 victories and $48.7 million in career
purses.
