At the recent annual Employee of the Year dinner in late December Eric Bonano was named Monticello Casino and Raceway’s Employee of the Year. The special dinner was held for the nominees and their guests and Bonano, of Monticello, NY was chosen over 11 other worthy candidates.

A maintenance worker, Bonano has been employed here since 2006.Time and again he has stepped up to the plate to help cover the absence of another team player.
According to his immediate superior ,assistant general manager, Shawn Wiles , “Eric is my right hand man and go-to person. He does what is needed to be done and is an optimal team player.”
As Employee of the Year Bonano was presented with a plaque honoring his accomplishment. He also received a check for $1000 and a choice parking space for a year.
