Jericho Diva, Saylor, and Iwillmakeyousaywow take Vernon features. 

Jericho Diva (John MacDonald), Saylor (Claude Huckabone III), and Iwillmakeyousaywow (Justin Huckabone) win tri-features at Vernon Downs on Friday (May 28). 

Jericho Diva ($3.10) cruises to an easy win in the $5,000 featured fillies and mares pace. 

Jericho Diva took over the lead just before hitting the first quarter in :27.0.  She put in a :30.4 second quarter breather hitting the half first in :57.4.  Unusual Clarity (Joe Nassimos) made the first move coming first-over down the backstretch.  Jericho Diva shook off the challenge and was first to three-quarters in 1:27.1. 

As they reached the stretch Jericho Diva just rolled to an easy victory in 1:56.2.  Sheer Talent (Justin Huckabone) finished second.  Under The Bus (Truman Gale) was third. 

Jericho Diva is a 6-year-old mare by Rock N Roll Heaven.  She is owned by Jennifer Safford and trained by Don Hoover.  It was her third win this season and 13th career victory. 

Saylor ($2.60) sales to easy win in the $5,000 featured trot. 

J-S Swanman (James McNeight Jr.) led to the first quarter in :28.3.  Saylor took over right after the quarter.  He went to the half in :59.4 and cruised to three-quarters in 1:29.2. 

As they made the turn for home J-S Swanman and Bet Big On Blue (Leon Bailey) went all out after Saylor.  Saylor was too strong and won in 1:58.4.  J-S Swanman was second Best while Bet Big On Blue had to settle for third money. 

Saylor is a 4-year-old gelding by Chapter Seven.  Huckabone III trains for owners James Crawford IV and Go Where The Money Is Stable.  He is a perfect three for three in 2021. 

Iwillmakeyousaywow ($14,40) was much the best in the $5000 featured pace. 

Iwillmakeyousaywow went right to the front and led to the first quarter in :26.2.  He used a :30.0 second quarter to hit the half in :56.2.  He led to three-quarters in 1:26.1. 

Second place finisher Lucky Nadotreblay (John MacDonald) and third place finisher Nesh Cruiser (Leon Bailey) followed the whole way but could never get close.  Iwillmakeyousaywow just blew them away in the stretch winning in 1:55.2. 

Iwillmakeyousaywow is a 9-year-old gelding by Manhardt.  Huckabone trains for owner Michael Vitalone.  It was his first win this season.  He now has 41 career wins. 

Leon Bailey drove four winners on the card.  His wins were with Americanexpression ($8.40), Dream On A Roll ($8.60), Some Royalty ($3.40), and Havana Ooh Nana ($26.60). 

Vernon Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (May 29) with a 11-race card starting at 6:10 p.m.
