John Horne for Tioga Downs.

Wally Hennessey continues to rack up the wins at Tioga Downs.  He drove six winners including the featured $9,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace with Landry Seelster on Saturday (May 22).

In the feature Landry Seelster ($3.10) worked her way to the front and led to the first quarter in :26.1.  She slowed the pace with a :29.3 second quarter hitting the half in :55.4.  Persistent Bettor (Jody Jamieson) made a first-over move to try to get to Landry Seelster.  Landry Seelster shook her off and led to three-quarters in 1:22.2.

Talk Show Chica (Corey Braden) popped the pocket and gave her best effort but had to settle for second as Landry Seelster coasted to a lifetime best of 1:51.3.  Persistent Bettor held on for third.

Landry Seelster is a 4-year-old mare by Mach Three.  She is owned by Kim Lezanchuk and trained by Jim McDonald.  It was her fourth win of the season.  She now owns 10 career wins.

Hennessey got his other wins with Red Dirt Rocknroll ($5.50), Beyond The View ($6.80), Elm Grove Maddy ($6.90), Adios Muchachos ($4.10), and Idealthecards ($5.00)
