John MacDonald continues to dominate at Vernon winning six .

John MacDonald continues hot streak winning six at Vernon Downs on Friday night (September 15).  Skyflex (Chris Lems) wins trot feature ($9,500).

After many lead changes Skyflex (Federal Flex) would hold on late to win to win the featured trot.  After many lead changes early he would take control at the top of the stretch but would have to withstand the late charge by Painite (Truman Gale).

Skyflex ($4.60), who is owned by S. Oppenheimer, Glasser Racing and Robert Cooper Stables, while trained by Homer Hochstetler, would win sixth time this season and 12th time in his career with a mile in 1:55.1.

Painite settled for second while Pinky The Intern (John MacDonald) finished third.

MacDonald is coming off a weekend when he won 18 races at the miracle mile.  He would win tonight with Frisky Joe ($3.80), Savin Rock ($4.90), Stirling Electra ($5.90), Fuzzylegsandall ($5.20), Bye Bye Michelle ($2.10), and Too Cool To Fool ($4.80).


Vernon Downs returns to live action on Saturday (September 16) with a post time of 6:45 p.m.
