Vernon NY - Horsemen
are reminded that there are a number of Grand Circuit stakes to be raced at
Tioga and Vernon Downs over the next few weeks.
The Dr Harry M Zweig Memorial
stakes for 3-year-old trotters is scheduled for Friday, August 18 at Vernon
Downs. The box will close at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15.
Horses drawn into the main event
for both fillies and colts must be checked into the Detention Barn by 8:00 p.m.
on Thursday, August 17.
Those horsemen intending to stay at
the Vernon hotel for the Zweig should make reservations via the Race Office
ASAP.

At Tioga Downs next Sunday, August
20 is a really big day.
The Empire Breeders Classic (EBC)
pacing finals and Roll With Joe FFA paces are both on the card along with all
divisions of the Tompkins-Geers stakes for 2-year-olds. The box for those races
will close at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17.
Horses in the EBC finals and Roll
With Joe will be required to be checked into the Detention Barn by 8:00
p.m. on Saturday, August 19.
