East Rutherford, NJ – The
Saturday night offering from The Meadowlands is composed of twelve competitive
events including four divisions of conditioned pacers fighting for a berth in
next week’s “Dash for the G-Note” finals.
The feature is race six,
a $15,000 conditioned pace led by the winner of the same class one week ago,
Ashley’s Husband. With consistently improving form over the past few seasons,
the Illinois bred son of Henry Clay is off to a good start at age six for
owner Bill Donovan and trainer Kyle Spanola. Usually a deep closer, Ashley’s
Husband has been kept closer to the pace these past few weeks, grinding up
first over to win for driver Vinnie Ginsburg Saturday last.
The competition is deep
with Pansformative likely to press the pace early and Dovuto Hanover known
for his deadly late kick. Also noteworthy is the presence of My Hero Ron
who makes his first start as a four-year-old after a solid sophomore campaign
for the Burke barn.
Victory Sports
Bar will broadcast the NCAA Final Four games along with racing from
everywhere and continues to offer discounted food and drink
specials. A Player’s Club “Swipe &
Score” promotion offers the opportunity to
win a betting voucher worth up to $1,500.
For our faithful, a “Last Chance” qualifier for the World Harness
Handicapping Contest is a must-play if you hope to gain entry into the season’s
biggest contest on April 30 and
finally, the Late Pick 4 program pages are available
every week, courtesy of Trackmaster.
