YONKERS, NY, Monday, April 18,
2016—Yonkers Raceway has announced the purses for this Saturday night’s (Apr.
23) series finals, with the Blue Chip Matchmaker going for the $309,800 and the
George Morton Levy Memorial set at $606,000.
As has been the case annually, these are
the sport’s two richest races of the season to date, with this also being the
richest-ever edition of the Levy.
Note that the open draws for these
races—and their respective consolations ($100,000-Levy,
$75,000-Matchmaker)—shall be conducted Tuesday Apr. 19) morning.
The final series standings accompany this
release, though the eligibles for finals and consolations are solely determined
by the race office per the conditions of the series.

for entering, with the Saturday entry box closing Tuesday morning at 9 AM. For
