YONKERS, NY, Monday, October 28, 2013--Yonkers Raceway is expanding its
simulcast schedule, beginning in the middle of next month.
Effective Monday, Nov. 11, Yonkers shall be open for afternoon simulcasting
seven days a week, replacing the current around-the-NYRA-schedule format.
Evening simulcasting continues around Yonkers' live schedule
(Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday), with first post remaining at 7:10
PM.
"With the debut of Empire City Bets (www.empirecitybets.com), our ADW
platform, we also wanted to increase simulcasting in our building as
well," general manager Bob Galterio said. "It's something our fans
have requested, and we're sure it's going to be well-received."
