Golden Brit (Howard Parker) battled and took the lead just before hitting the first quarter in :26.4. Electrofire (Jennifer Lappe) settled for the pocket trip. Golden Brit kept the lead as they hit the half in :55.2.
Dreams Beachboy ($7.90), who is owned by Crawford Farms racing and trained by Brunet, went first over from third just before the halfway point. He then took over as they headed for the final turn. He led to three-quarters in 1:22.4 and glided home to win easily is a seasonal best of 1:51.3. Golden Brit finished in second. Golden Gun (Claude Huckabone Jr.) took home third money.
Dreams Beachboy is 7-year-old gelding by Somebeachsomewhere. He won for the second time this season. He now has 27 career victories.
John MacDonald drove three winners on the night. His wins came with Intuitive Writer ($7.30), Haulin' Oats ($8.00), and Brookdale Bruiser ($5.20). Howard Parker and Irving Mauran each had two wins on the night. Parker won with Rebel Jet ($28.40), and Rocksapatriot ($3.30). Mauran teamed up with owner-trainer Barbara Stephenson to win with Somelucksomerock ($14.80), and Klondike Art ($16.10).
Eddie captured the second annual wiener trot. He is owned by Jessica Cook. She won a $500 wagering voucher. Paisley finished second for owner Gina Greco, getting a $200 wagering voucher. Luna picked up the third place prize of a $100 wagering voucher for his owner Raymond.
