The
Western Ideal filly, driven by Daniel Dube and trained by Abe Stoltzfus, was a
nose winner over Ashlee’s Card [Cam’s Card Shark]. It was a length and a
quarter to the pacesetter, Isle of Shoals [Rocknroll Hanover], in third.
Betting favorite Light of Day [Rocknroll Hanover] was four and a quarter lengths
back in fourth.
Nominal
Hanover paced the mile in 1:59.1, picking up her third win along with one
second and two thirds from 10 starts. The filly has banked $27,400 for
Ernest Hartman of Toledo, OH.
