East Rutherford, NJ - Crosby's Clam Bake will look to continue his reign at the top
of the trotting class when he takes on seven worthy rivals on Friday night at
The Meadowlands in the featured sixth race, an $18,000 conditioned event.
A winner now of three straight with the last two right on the
lead against many of the same horses Crosby's Clam Bake has been designated as
the 2-1 favorite despite being assigned the outside eight post. His keen
gate speed and the respect of the competition provide driver Jimmy
Marohn, Jr with a few good options to get his charge into the race.
Trainer Andrew Federico, Jr has enjoyed great success with horses
sent east by top Pennsylvania conditioner Randy Bendis and clearly has Crosby's
Clam Bake as crisp as a Sam Snead drive for the start of the new season.
Jack Piatt, II and Tom Pollack share ownership with the trainer on the
seven-year-old Kadabra gelding.
It's another pair of thirteen race cards for the weekend with the
horse population allowing for big fields and lively competition. Guarantees
remain in place for the horizontal wagers and free program pages are yours for

Promotionally the popular 60
second wagering spree returns and the first leg of the World
Harness Handicapping Contest is on Saturday night.
