DeVaux, who won 181 races in 2016, is off to a fast start in 2017. The 5 bagger started in the 2nd race, when he steered Majestic Jo (PP5) to victory for trainer Michael Weiner in 2:02:1. The 13 year old Semalu Express (PP2) was the next winner in 1:57.4 in race 4 for owner Joseph Carelli of Deerborn Heights, MI.
