YONKERS, NY, Tuesday, November 1, 2016—With a maximum of 10 races
available every program effective Friday (Nov. 4th), Yonkers Raceway
has moved its Pick 5 wager to races 6 through 10.
The gimmick, which had comprised races 7 through 11, remains a
50-cent base wager. It
has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners, the
entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next program.
The
Pick 5 reverts to its customary place when more than 10 races are carded.
