East Rutherford, NJ - Meadowlands live racing returns on Friday with a dozen
solid overnight events beginning at 7:15 p.m. and the excitement of this year's
Breeders Cup simulcast throughout the building all weekend.
The Billings Amateur Series comes
through town with a competitive field of nine set to kick off the weekend in
the first half of Friday's Daily Double.
The Friday feature is a
conditioned trot in the sixth with an interesting mix of accomplished veterans
led by the 2012 Hambletonian winner of over $3.7 million Market Share facing a
hard hitting group that includes Rock Of Cashel, Opulent Yankee and
Waiting On A Woman.
So far as the Breeders
Cup from Santa Anita, the Friday races get underway at 2:25 p.m. local time
with four Cup races. The big day is the
Saturday card that starts at 1:15 Eastern and concludes with the $6 million
Classic featuring the highly anticipated battle between champion California
Chrome and upstart Arrogate scheduled for around 8:30 p.m. Pink
will serve a buffet and there will be wagering promotions throughout the
day.
