East Rutherford, NJ –
The Meadowlands has two announcements regarding upcoming races for
two-year-olds.
First, in response
to a request by the SBOA of NJ, there will no longer be a charge to
race in the “Baby Races” at The Meadowlands.
Also, starting next week
there will be a short series written for two-year-olds of each gait and sex
with $12,500 eliminations on the weekend of June 23 & 24 and $25,000 added
finals the following weekend.
The nomination fee is
$500 and to enter you need only declare the horse in the event listed on the
condition sheet by the close of box at 9:00 a.m. next Monday, June 20.
If there are not enough
horses entered to race as a series, it may be used as an overnight
race for a purse of $12,500 with no fee required.
