According to Dave Yarock, the
Edward Weiner and Edward Yarock Scholarship Fund will contribute to the Robert
"Bo" Beauregard Memorial Fundraiser on Sunday July 19 to assist the
sons of Robert Beauregard. The Scholarship Fund will match up to $1000 for all
contributions collected for this event.
The Monticello Harness Horsemens
Association (MHHA) is sponsoring a Bar-B-Que (BBQ) at Hanofee Park in
Liberty, NY to honor memory of Robert “Bo” Beauregard who passed away
unexpectedly earlier this year.
“Besides paying homage to Bo with this upcoming BBQ we are hoping to get some donations for the trust fund for his young children, John and Stephen,” noted Alan Schwartz the president of the Monticello Harness Horsemen's Association.
"For years Bo would dress-up
as Santa Claus for our annual Christmas Party always to delight the
children," noted Alan Schwartz, president of MHHA.
The BBQ will start at noon and
continue until dusk this coming Sunday. For a $20.00 donation food and soft
drinks will be available all day. There will be fun and games for the children
and swimming is also available.
