$2,500 Mystery Voucher Winner at The Meadowlands

 East Rutherford, NJ - Roger Alston, of Newark, NJ, won $2,500 in Saturday’s Mystery Mutuel Voucher Promotion.  Mystery vouchers were sent to the Meadowlands promotions list in the Championship Meet mailing.  Alston had a 1 in 14,000 chance of cashing the Grand Prize voucher. 

Alston, a retiree, is an avid race fan that has been coming to the Meadowlands since 1976. 

When asked which track he favors he stated, “Whatever track I can win on.”

Racing resumes tonight with first post time at 7:15 P.M.  The Saturday program features the second leg of the New Jersey Sires Stakes for three year old colt and filly pacers as well as the second leg of the TVG Free For All Pacing Championship.
