During the month of December there will be several
changes in the live racing schedule at Monticello Raceway.
The schedule during the first three weeks in
December remains the same as always with live harness action on the afternoons
of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Then there are added days on Friday, December 20,
Sunday, December 22 and Friday, December 27 which will offer 19 days with live
racing during the month.
The Sunday, December 22 afternoon race card was
added to coincide with the Horsemen’s Holiday Party. After December 16 racing
will continue on every weekday afternoon including Friday December
21.
There will be no racing Tuesday, December 24 nor on
Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25.
All post times in December will be at 12:25pm.
Special events during December include the Ronnie
Wrenn, Jr. –Bruce Aldrich, Jr. Drive-Off on Thursday, December 12 and the
Heritage Drivers Series Final-- dubbed the All-America Cup—on Thursday December
19. The Au Revoir, for 14 year-olds only, will be presented on Monday,
December 30.
