Taking advantage of the absence of leading drivers James DeVaux Bruce Aldrich
Jr, the young 25-year-old Siegelman reeled off 4 winners on the afternoons 9
race card.
The first
winner of the day came mid-way in the card in race 4 aboard Musical Romance
($6.30) from post 3 for trainer Robert Lounsbury in 2:02. Siegelman then
won the 2 next races in succession with Cundalini from the rail in 2:01.3 and
Sheer Action (PP6) in 2:01.1 The 4th win of the card came in
the last race with the favorite Oneisalonleynumber in 2:00.4 for trainer James
Siegelman, who enjoyed a training double.
With the 4
wins, it gives Siegelman a seasonal tally of 31 wins, within striking distance
of overtaking Bruce Aldrich who is currently in second place with 32 wins.
