Trio of Breeders Crown fields drawn

East Rutherford, N.J. -- The three Breeders Crown fields not requiring eliminations--both trotting events for older horses and one pacing event--were drawn on Friday (October 21) evening at the Meadowlands.

The $421,000 Crown for older pacers shapes up to be a clash of the titans, with world record holder Always B Miki--fresh off a decisive win in the evening's sub-featured $25,000 Open Pace--drawing post position 4 in the field of 10. David Miller will once again drive the double millionaire for trainer Jimmy Takter. Defending Horse of the Year Wiggle It Jiggleit drew post 7, with usual driver Montrell Teague once again listed by trainer Clyde Francis.

The Open Pace field is as follows, with nominated drivers:

In the $250,000 Crown for distaff trotters, defending champion D'One drew post 7 in the field of eight. Tim Tetrick is nominated to drive the Roger Walmann trainee. Millionaire Hannelore Hanover (Gingras-Burke) drew post 2, 2014 Crown distaff trotting champion Bee a Magician (Sears-Norman) post 5, and Shake It Cerry (David Miller-Takter) post 8.
