YONKERS, NY, Wednesday, January 20, 2016—A
couple of friendly reminders from Yonkers Raceway.
In order of chronological importance,
Thursday’s (Jan. 21) Pick 5 begins with a carryover of $2,602.43.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager
comprising races 7 through 11 during every racing program. It has no
consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case
Tuesday afternoon), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next program.
Next, the live schedule, with its February changes, including no Thursdays
(they return in March) and no Sunday matinees until Feb. 28.
