2015—There are any number of places to watch American Pharoah’s quest to
complete the elusive Triple Crown, but only one that offers $20 in incentives
to do so.
Saturday afternoon (June 6), Empire
City/Yonkers Raceway is presenting a Belmont Stakes Viewing Party in the Empire
Terrace restaurant. The restaurant is located on the casino’s second floor,
overlooking the racing surface. The party runs from 4-8 PM, with free admission
and no RSVP required.
Racing fans can enjoy live music
with food and drink specials, plus wager on Belmont Park (first post is 11:35
AM) as well other leading simulcast tracks while watching the races on 80”
televisions.
As an added bonus, guests who bring
the newspaper advertisement (running in local papers Friday and Saturday, June
5 and 6) to a promotions booth between 10 AM-6 PM receive a $10 race bet and
$10 in casino free play.
Post time for the 147th
running of the Belmont is 6:50 PM, as American Pharoah tries to end a 37-year
Triple Crown drought.
