Registrations now
open; Contest begins May 11
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (May
5, 2015) – Baseball season is well
underway and Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment (MRE) is giving fans even
more reason to watch every game, the $14,500 MRE Baseball Challenge.
Beginning May 11 and running
through August 30, fans can participate in the free play challenge to compete
for the $3,000 grand prize and the $250 weekly prize. The Challenge is played
via mobile device, through the MRE Sports app which can be downloaded to
any iPhone, iPad or Android device at iTunes or http://bit.ly/1nEwbyp. All picks must be entered while contestants are
physically at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
The $14,500 MRE Baseball
Challenge is free to enter. Players will receive 1,000 points each Monday at
1pm to play for that week’s baseball games. Contestants will use their
Meadowlands Player’s Rewards account number and Pin to submit their picks. At
the end of each week, the contestant with the most points will win $250. At the
end of the challenge season, the player with the most
wins overall will receive $3,000. The runner-up will receive $1,000. All
winners will be notified via phone and email, and will be posted on the TV by
the Player’s Reward Club desk.
Throughout the baseball
season fans can watch the games in the Vegas-style Victory Sports Bar located
within Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
