Vernon, N.Y. -- After having

second race. The 10-year-old Village Jove gelding won 63 of his 172
starts, while finishing in the money on 115 occasions. He's primarily
done battle in the top pacing ranks through the Mid-Atlantic, taking his
lifetime mark in January of 2012 with a 1:48 victory in a
Presidential preliminary at the Meadowlands.
Golden Receiver mounts his
comeback off a lone qualifier, sprinting clear and maintaining separation
through a 1:53.3 mile at Vernon on May 22, finishing 15-3/4 lengths clear of
Party With Artie. Fern Paquet, Jr. drove in the qualifier, and will do
the same in Sunday's Open. His four rivals are A Fool For Mark (Dustin
