EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – For the first time since the
Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment Football Challenge began five weeks ago,
there was a tie for weekly honors. Deborah Stuart and Peter Scaramelli each
amassed 8,000 points to share the $2,000 first place prize. The overall winner
at the end of 17-week season wins a $10,000 prize. The contest is free to play.
Contestants receive 1,000 points each week and use those
points to play the contest featuring professional football and Top 25 college
games. The contest is played via the MRE Sports app available for download on
all iPhone/iPad and Android enabled devices. Selections each week must be made
while at Victory Sports Bar and Club, Raceworld Teletheater and the VIP Rooms
all located at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
To sign up for the MRE Football Challenge, you must be a
member of The Meadowlands Player Rewards program and can sign up for both Player
Rewards and the Sports Challenge at the Players Club at Meadowlands Racing
& Entertainment.
