2014—Yonkers Raceway’s Monday night Pick 5, with its impromptu $25,000
guaranteed pool, bought out the bettors with many fists.
A total of $31,216 of fresh money was
added to a double-carryover of $9,381 and some change.
The “phrase that pays” sequence (with
win mutuels) was
1-Northmedo Wine Guy ($5.80)
1-In the Clear ($2.40)
2-Janinne ($9.10)
2-Cheyenne Jeffrey ($24.80)
8-Dallenbach Hanover ($4.10) (along with
scratch numbers 5 and 6)
and returned $452.50 for every half-a-buck base wager.
The Pick 5 regularly offers a $10,000 guaranteed
pool every Monday and Tuesday (in conjunction with the US Trotting Association’s
Strategic Wagering Program), with program pages for those “guarantee” days

The Raceway's five-night-per-week live schedule continues, with first post
every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:10 PM. Evening
simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting
