MANALAPAN, NJ – February 5,
2014 – February 15, 2014 is the deadline for three-year-old payments for this
year’s Charles Smith and Helen Smith Trots as well as membership renewals for
the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey.
Those who belonged to the
SBOANJ in 2013 must renew their membership by February 15 to receive full
coverage in 2014.
The $60,000 estimated
Charles Smith for three-year-old New Jersey-sired trotters is scheduled to take
place on September 12 while the filly companion event, the $50,000 Helen Smith,
is on September 5, both at Freehold Raceway.
The sustaining fee is
$200. The Smiths are both sponsored by the SBOANJ.
