Tioga Downs welcomes two divisions of the New York Sire
Stakes (NYSS) for freshmen trotting colts and geldings on Sunday (June
30). Both divisions will race for a purse of $55,000.
In the first division the top morning line choice at 3-1 is
Saylor (Jim Marohn Jr). Owned and trained by D.R. Ackerman, he is a colt
by Chapter Seven–Creme De Cocoa. The second choice at 7-2 is Hobbs (Tyler
Buter), who is a gelding by Credit Winner-Cruella De Ville.

Campbell. the third choice at 4-1 is Barn Holden (Jim Meittinis).

In the second division the 9-5 morning line favorite is
Chaptiama (Trond Smedshammer). He is a colt by Chapter
Seven–Crediama. Owned by Purple Haze Stables and trained by Smedshammer.
The second morning line choice at 4-1 is Third Shift (Ake
Svanstedt). The colt by Chapter Seven-Overnight is owned by Melby Gard
Inc. and trained by Svanstedt. The third choice at 6-1 is Take The Credit
(Andy Miller).
Owned by Brixton Medical Inc. and trained by Svanstedt, he
