Bay Rum ($4.50), who is owned by Glasser Racing and trained by Homer Hochstetler, made his move from third after the half. He controlled the pace as they hit three-quarters in 1:24.0.
He would have to hold off the late charge of Poisonous to secure his seventh straight win with a winning time of 1:53.1. Poisonous was second but place seventh for causing interference in the first turn. Electrofire was awarded second with Dream's Beachboy (Gates Brunet) being placed third.
Bay Rum is a 6-year-old gelding by Real Desire. It was his eighth win of 2019 and his 19th career victory.
Howard Parker won four on the special Father's Day card. His other wins came with Hands Off Frank ($12.40), Golden Brit ($5.40), and Heaven's Storm $3.50).
