EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Two
Meadowlands bettors who love to go for the big score had big smiles on their
faces Saturday night, as two of the track’s most popular wagers resulted in
jackpot payouts.
The 20-Cent Survivor Pick 10,
which saw a total handle of $20,005, resulted in a single-ticket winner
wagering into the Portland, Ore. hub, who cashed in for $17,000.54 after surviving
seven legs.
There was only one winning
ticket sold in the ninth race 20-Cent Jackpot Super High Five, and that player,
betting into the Maryland hub, walked away with $7,622.70.
