YONKERS, NY, Monday, May 6, 2013--Yonkers Raceway has announced a new "Jackpot Next Door" Claiming Series, for $20,000 claiming pacers of both genders.
The Friday night series offers four preliminary legs beginning June 28 (each
race worth $20,000), with a $50,000 (Gtd.) added final and $30,000 (gtd.) consolation
both going July 26. Claiming is permitted in the first two legs, with a
50 percent premium for second-leg claims. Nomination fee is $500, with a deadline of June 15.
Nominations forms are available in all the familiar places, including www.yonkersraceway.com, the nightly
live racing program and sooner rather than later in various harness
publications and their on-line sites. A copy of the nomination form accompanies
this release.

The Raceway's five-night-per-week live schedule continues, with first post
every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:10 PM. Evening
simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting
