Successful Meadowlands Toy Drive Provides Holiday Cheer

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – This holiday season will be a little brighter for hundreds of area children thanks to a massive Marine Corps Toys for Tots collection drive at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment.
Hundreds of toys were collected from November 1st through Saturday, December 14th and nearly $2,000 in cash was donated.
For the second year in a row the Meadowlands Racetrack teamed up with NY Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa to donate all the collected toys to Harlem Grown.
Tina Cervasio emceed the event and special guest, 2020 Miss New Jersey USA, Gina Mellish helped with the night’s prize drawings.
“It was great partnering with Quincy Enunwa and Harlem Grown again this year,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, GM/COO of Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment. “This cause is near and dear to my heart and our toy drive exceeded my expectations.   This charity event will be a mainstay on our December events calendar for years to come.”
