Only Passing Thru, who is owned by Diane Whittemore and trained by Marissa Chadbourne, sat in the pocket until the stretch. He would battle Taco Tuesday down the stretch and go by to win in 1:55.4. Taco Tuesday settled for second with Eyore Hanover (Homer Hochstetler) getting third money.
Only Passing Thru is a 5-year-old horse by Muscle Hill. It was his fifth win of 2019. He now owns 16 career victories.
Driver Jimmy Whittemore and trainer Marissa Chadbourne combined on another win on the evening. They got their other win with Love Live Laugh ($8.30).
Leon Bailey won the late double on the night. His wins came with Tiger Boudoir ($6.00) and Southwind Vixen ($13.40).
